Well, here we are, our first day in Paris.

The Café owner was a little surly until I asked for our meal in French, then the gloom lifted with a smile. Or was he amused by my accent? The quiche I had was light and tasty and Jo's salad and fish pie was simple but très bon. With deux café it was 34 EUR.

Mind you, they wright it with a comma as in 34,00 EUR- when I first saw it I thought 'bloody hell'.
